Position Overview
A large, accredited hospital in Central Florida is seeking an Interventional Radiographer to join its Vascular & Interventional Radiology team. This role focuses on performing advanced interventional and neuro-imaging procedures in a fast-paced angiography environment, supporting critically ill to acutely ill patients across the adult to geriatric population.

Schedule: Days

Shifts: 4 days per week (days determined by hiring manager)

Hours: 10-hour shifts | 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
On-Call Requirement:

Weekdays: Monday–Friday | 5:30 PM – 7:00 AM

Weekends: Saturday–Sunday | 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
-
Must reside within 30 minutes of the facility to meet on-call response requirements
Key Responsibilities
-
Perform vascular and interventional radiology procedures in an angiography suite
-
Support imaging procedures across multiple clinical areas, including:
-
Neurological
-
Thoracic
-
Abdominal
-
Genitourinary & Gastrointestinal (nonvascular)

Peripheral and venous access
-

Operate imaging equipment safely and accurately while adhering to departmental and hospital policies
-
Provide care to critically ill through acutely ill adult and geriatric patients

Demonstrate awareness of patient age, functional level, and clinical condition
-
Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams
-
Maintain compliance with regulatory and safety standards
Required Qualifications
-
Florida State Registered Radiologic Technologist – required
-
Registered Radiographer (ARRT-R) – required
-
CV Registered preferred
-
Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology (Special Procedures preferred)
-
1 year of experience preferred (less experience considered with strong prior imaging background)

Experience in Interventional and Neuro Radiology strongly desired

BLS certification required within 30 days of start
-
ACLS certification required within 6 months of start
