Position Overview
The Business Manager will oversee all office operations and administrative functions while serving as a key liaison between management, field crews, customers, and vendors. This individual will play a critical role in maintaining efficient workflows, ensuring exceptional customer service, and supporting the company's continued growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily office operations and administrative activities
- Utilize Aspire software for scheduling, job tracking, estimating, billing, reporting, and workflow management
- Coordinate communication between field crews, project managers, the General Manager, customers, and vendors
- Process invoicing and assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
- Maintain accurate job costing, contracts, work orders, and project documentation
- Support payroll processing and employee onboarding activities
- Monitor office procedures and implement process improvements to increase efficiency
- Provide exceptional customer service and timely follow-up on customer inquiries
- Assist leadership with reporting, operational tracking, and business administration
Qualifications
Required
- Previous office management or business management experience within the landscaping, landscape construction, irrigation, or green industry
- Hands-on experience with Aspire software
- Strong organizational, administrative, and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Ability to work independently and effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Preferred
- Spanish-speaking skills
- Experience with payroll, billing, and job costing functions
