Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 Special Education teaching opportunity is available to provide specialized direct services and case management support. This contract role offers approximately 12 hours per week focused on delivering individualized instruction and support in a vocational (VOCO) special education setting.
Location:
- Henneker, New Hampshire (serving a local school district near Keene, NH)
Position Details:
- Contract duration: Immediate start through June 26, 2026
- Scheduled hours: Approximately 12 hours per week
- Caseload: Direct services for one or two students totaling 10 hours; plus approximately 2 hours dedicated to prep and case management
- Service type: Vocational special education support (VOCO SPED)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver tailored, one-on-one special education instruction to students within a K-12 environment
- Manage case files and coordinate with educational teams to monitor student progress and update individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide high-quality vocational skill development and related services aligned to students goals
- Collaborate with staff, families, and administrators to support student success and comply with relevant regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid New Hampshire special education licensure
- Extensive experience providing vocational special education services (VOCO)
- Ability to manage case work effectively and maintain accurate documentation
- Strong communication skills and proficiency in individualized student support
