Job DescriptionWe are looking for a Quality Control Specialist at Fuling Plastic USA.Fuling produces a wide selection of tableware supplies, including cutlery, straws, takeout and deli containers, paper and plastic cups, portion cups, plates and bowls, and accessories. We offer both plastic (including biodegradable) and paper options to serve our customers' complete needs - in one place.Key Responsibilities:
Developing and implementing quality control procedures:This includes creating and maintaining test plans, test cases, and other quality control documentation.Monitoring processes and inspecting products:You will observe production processes, inspect finished goods, and identify any deviations from quality standards.
Identifying and reporting defects:Document and report defects, work with development teams to resolve them, and track defect resolution.Conducting audits and inspections:You will perform audits of production processes, equipment, or documentation to ensure compliance with quality standards.Analyzing data and identifying trends:You will analyze quality data, identify trends, and recommend process improvements.Staying up-to-date on industry standards and best practices:You will need to be knowledgeable about current quality standards, regulations, and best practices.Developing and implementing quality improvement initiatives:You will play a role in identifying areas for process improvement and implementing changes to enhance quality.Essential Skills and Qualifications:
Strong attention to detail:You will need to be meticulous and pay close attention to detail to identify even minor defects.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills:You will need to be able to identify the root cause of defects and develop effective solutions.
Strong communication skills:You will need to be able to effectively communicate with team members and management.
Proficiency in quality management tools and software:You will need to be familiar with various tools and software used for quality management and testing.
Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and testing strategies:You will need to understand different testing methodologies and strategies.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team:You will need to be able to work independently to complete your tasks, but also collaborate effectively with others.
Relevant educational background:A bachelor's degree in a related field such as engineering, computer science, or business administration is a plus.
Experience in a related field:Prior experience in quality assurance, quality control, or a related field is preferred.Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
