Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support K-12 students in a dynamic educational setting located in Reading, PA. This full academic year contract position focuses on enhancing student well-being and academic success through prehensive psychological services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational assessments to identify student needs, strengths, and challenges.
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and provide consultation to educators and families.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and monitor intervention strategies.
- Offer counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support as needed.
- Maintain accurate documentation while plying with school and legal requirements.
- Participate in meetings and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid state certification or licensure to practice as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with K-12 populations in a public school setting.
- Strong assessment, counseling, and munication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and students.
- Knowledge of special education laws and educational psychology principles.
