Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Providing skilled nursing care in an intensive care environment, this role requires a Registered Nurse proficient in ICU patient management. The Clinical Nurse ensures delivery of patient-centered care through comprehensive assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in a hospital setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver competent clinical nursing care to critically ill patients using the nursing process.
- Participate in ongoing education to meet personal and patient care learning needs.
- Assess patient and family readiness and developmental levels for education.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate and update patient plans of care.
- Prioritize and organize care, addressing complex physical, psychosocial, educational, and safety needs.
- Perform bedside point-of-care testing relevant to patient management.
- Promote a safe, clean, and secure hospital environment.
- Engage in unit goals, performance improvement, cost-effective care, and intra/interdepartmental collaboration.
- Recognize and anticipate discharge needs while fostering advocacy through patient-family relationships.
- Review relevant research to inform practice enhancements.
Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid RN licensure with ICU nursing experience.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to coordinate care for patients with complex and acute conditions.
- Demonstrated communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
