Retail Pharmacist Contract to Hire (13 Weeks, Day Shift) Los Alamos, NM

Summary:
We are seeking a Pharmacist to join a retail pharmacy in Los Alamos, NM for a 13-week contract to hire assignment. This position is an excellent opportunity for pharmacists who enjoy a fast-paced, high-volume environment while delivering outstanding patient care.

Schedule:

• Monday Friday, 8:30 AM 6:30 PM

• Saturday, 9:00 AM 2:00 PM (rotating weekends)

• Candidate must be flexible to start at either 8:30 AM or 9:30 AM

Responsibilities:

• Supervise technicians and ensure accurate prescription processing

• Provide direct patient counseling and excellent customer service

• Verify USP 800 non-sterile compounded prescriptions (verify only, no compounding)

• Support a pharmacy averaging 600 prescriptions per day

Requirements:

• Active New Mexico pharmacist license in good standing

• Experience with non-sterile compounding a plus

• High-volume retail pharmacy experience preferred

• Open to new graduates
