Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with general education teachers, parents, and related service providers
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Knowledge of IEP development and compliance

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver resource support to a manageable elementary caseload
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans that address academic and behavioral goals
  • Adapt and modify instructional materials to ensure accessibility
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation required under state and federal regulations
  • Foster a supportive, encouraging environment that facilitates learning and growth
  • Participate in IEP meetings, staff collaboration, and ongoing professional development
