Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Sunbelt Staffing, a leading education and healthcare staffing agency, is currently seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team and provide exceptional services to a school district in Michigan.This is a contract position for the currentacademic year, offering a great opportunity to work with a supportive team of professionals and make a positive impact on the lives of students.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Provide direct therapy services to students, both individually and in small groups
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to create and implement strategies to support student progress
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of IEP goals
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records in accordance with state and federal regulations
  • On-site or remote opportunities available

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Communication Disordersfrom an accredited program
  • Current Michigan state licensure and MichiganProfessional Educator licensure, or eligibility to obtain licensure
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) preferred
  • Prior experience in a school setting preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
