Job DescriptionSalary: $23-$28/hr dependent upon experience/education
Monday-Friday, morning and afternoon availability preferred; flexible, 20-30hrs per week as needed.
Responsibilities
Provide support to all staff as needed/requested, when reasonable.
Receive and coordinate Accounts Payables.
Handling supplies purchasing for the entire organization.
Manage requests for payments needed for client assistance program, often with expedited turnaround.
Occasional hand delivering of checks around Flagstaff.
Monitor PO Box and process mail in a timely manner.
Process printed checks from agency accountant and maintain an expense tracking log.
Deposit and process contributions, entering donor information into database.
Thank you notes for donations writing, reviewing and sending
Basic filing and office organization.
Assist with special projects (as needed) including running of general errands.
Assist FSS Finance team with data requests as needed.
Qualifications
2+ years of previous administrative experience.
Valid Driver's License required.
Experience working in a human services field preferred; or equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities.
Familiarity with the Arizona/Flagstaff nonprofit/philanthropic environment preferred.
Knowledge of basic application of confidentiality.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Experienced in data entry.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to perform and prioritizemultiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to take initiative and manage projects assigned through completion with minimal supervision.
Ability to anticipate challenges and effectively resolve potential issues through creative problemsolving.
Exhibit a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
Environment
Must be able to walk around the property and perform lifting (25 lbs. or more).
There may be exposure to cleaning agents and allergens when on-site.
Employees may be subject to loud/frequent noise, disruptive behavior, or human crises involvingsubstance abuse or mental health concerns.
This role may require use of a personal vehicle or FSS vehicle (with approval) to complete shopping tasks, including bulk pickup and delivery to FSS locations.
