Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a certified Special Education Teacher to support students across K-12 grades, with a caseload spanning elementary through high school levels. The position requires dedication to fostering individualized learning plans and providing tailored instruction to meet diverse student needs in a full-time capacity from ASAP through the end of the school year. Part-time applicants will also be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction and support for students with disabilities within grades K through 12.
- Collaborate with general education staff and support teams to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies to maximize educational outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records and participate in team meetings for student assessments.
- Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment tailored to each student's learning requirements.
Qualifications:
- Valid state Special Education teaching certification.
- Experience teaching a wide range of grade levels, including elementary (K-5), middle (6-8), and high school (9-12).
- Strong understanding of special education laws, classroom management, and adaptive instructional techniques.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and maintain clear communication with families and school personnel.
