Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Consultant (BC) or Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, implementing, and supervising treatment plans for children and adolescents with mental health diagnoses. This role requires a commitment to the achievement of individualized goals and the ability to maintain accurate records of progress.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for children and adolescents.
- Monitor and supervise the treatment process to ensure adherence to established goals.
- Record data regarding behavior and progress in a clear and timely manner.
- Engage with caretakers to involve them in the treatment process.
- Report unusual incidents in compliance with relevant laws, policies, and procedures.
- Uphold a safe environment by refraining from lifting, carrying, or restraining children.
- Be prepared to run for extended periods if necessary to ensure the safety of the child.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Board Certification as a Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is required.
- Behavior Specialist License is required.
- Strong understanding of mental health diagnoses and treatment methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively with children, families, and other professionals.
- Strong observational and analytical skills to assess behavior and progress.
- Commitment to ethical practices and compliance with relevant regulations.
- Thorough knowledge of the basic principles of psychology and ABA.
- Thorough knowledge of behavior analysis, psychological techniques, theories, and practices employed in the modification of human behavior.

Requirements:
- Must have Pennsylvania Criminal, Child Abuse, FBI Clearance and PA Mandated Reporter.
- Must have a physical and a negative TB test.
- Familiar with HIPAA standards and Electronic Health Record systems (Microsoft TEAMS, Central Reach).
- Complete a minimum of 16 hours of training annually related to job functions and is in accordance with the training plan and IBHS requirements.
- Maintain confidentiality in all matters relating to the client and the client's family.
- Meet established deadlines and schedules.
- Travel up to 75% of the time.
