Job Title: Deburrer
$19-$21
10 hour days 4 days a week Monday-Thursday
1st shift
Deburrer Purpose: Under minimal supervision deburr and break sharp edges of plastic and metal material from raw stock and machined parts using various tools and equipment including but not limited to band saws, scrapers, razor blades, files, sandpaper, deburring tools, and deburring wheels.
Deburrer Responsibilities:
· Performs all tasks in a safe and responsible manner.
· Complies with Company procedures, rules, and regulations.
· Maintains safe and clean working environment.
· Wears eye, ear, hand, and respiratory protection when required or needed.
· Utilizes and abides by ISO requirements.
· Removes burrs, chips, and sharp edges from raw stock and machined parts.
· Performs daily regular cleaning and light maintenance tasks.
· Ensures deburring tools and equipment are maintained and in good working order.
· Replenishes production material as needed.
· Recognizes, deploys and properly uses fixtures and tooling.
· Completes all necessary documents related to production.
· Inspects part visually for any damage.
· Verifies specifications.
· Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
· Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
Skills/Qualifications:
· Production or manufacturing experience.
· Strong attention to detail.
· ISO 9001 Training
· Deburring Training
· Good Documentation Training
· Basic Math Test
· Grinder Training
Physical Demands:
· Lift up to 50 lbs.
· Sit up to 10 hours per day.
· Stand up to 10 hours per day.
· Arm/Hand Steadiness
