Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic mammography imaging with precision and patient comfort.

Ensure strict adherence to safety and quality protocols in imaging.

Maintain meticulous patient records and ensure HIPAA/compliance standards.

Operate and calibrate mammography equipment and related QC processes.

Engage in continuous learning to stay updated on best practices and new technologies.

Collaborate with team to meet daily and weekly productivity targets and pipelines.

Coordinate patient scheduling, documentation, and image transfer with high accuracy.

Provide patient education on procedures, preparation, and aftercare as needed.

Assist radiologists in image interpretation and workflow optimization.

Participate in on-site quality improvement initiatives and audits.

Document and report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns promptly.
Experience/Qualifications

Certified mammography technologist with state licensure and ARRT certification.

Perform diagnostic mammography with attention to patient comfort and positioning.

Adhere to HIPAA, safety, and quality protocols; maintain accurate records.

Operate, calibrate, and conduct QC checks on mammography equipment.

Accurately schedule, document, and transfer images; ensure image integrity.

Assist radiologists with interpretation and workflow optimization.

Participate in on-site quality improvement initiatives and audits.

Document equipment malfunctions and safety concerns promptly.

Maintain meticulous patient records and ensure data integrity in systems.
