Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for a dedicated Special Education Teacher to support students in grades 4-12 across two campuses in the Littleton area. This full-time role provides vital instructional support through both push-in and pull-out services to meet diverse learners' needs in a K-12 setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized instruction tailored to individual education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers to implement inclusive teaching strategies within the classroom (push-in)
- Provide targeted support outside the general education setting (pull-out) to reinforce learning objectives
- Monitor and document student progress to adjust instructional methods accordingly
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings to support student success
Qualifications:
- Active Colorado Special Education teaching license is required
- Experience working with grades 4 through 12 preferred
- Strong knowledge of special education laws, IEP development, and acmodations
- Ability to foster positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
- Effective munication and organizational skills
Location & Schedule:
- Position based in Littleton, CO, serving two campuses
- Full-time, 37.5 hours per week
- Contract aligned with the school calendar (NSY)
