Job Title: Training Specialist III
Location: Irwindale, CA (Onsite)
Duration: 6 Months
Pay Range: $38-$42 per hour on W2
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Learning & Development (L&D) professional to join our team as a Training Specialist III. The ideal candidate will have advanced expertise in Adobe InDesign along with experience using Articulate Storyline and Microsoft PowerPoint to create and format professional learning materials.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Format and produce learning materials, including eLearning modules, facilitator guides, participant workbooks, and job aids, using:
- Adobe InDesign (primary tool)
- Articulate Storyline
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Apply and maintain consistency with established visual and instructional design standards set by the Creative Director.
- Collaborate with project managers and instructional designers to ensure timely delivery of assets.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing quality with efficiency.
- Conduct light QA checks to ensure formatting accuracy and functionality.
- Maintain organized file structures and version control for all deliverables.
Required Skills & Attributes
- Expert-level proficiency in:
- Adobe InDesign (Adobe Creative Suite)
- Articulate Storyline
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow design templates and brand/style guidelines.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a remote environment.
- Strong organizational and file management skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in a related field.
Desired Skills & Attributes
- Experience working in Learning & Development, education, or corporate training environments.
- Prior experience as an Instructional Designer or Learning Experience Designer.
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (e.g., WCAG) in learning content.
