As a NICU RN in this fast-paced, Level IV NICU, you’ll be part of a distinguished academic medical center with exposure to diverse workplace practices and progressive pediatric care protocols. Working alongside a supportive clinical team, you’ll care for extremely premature infants (down to 23 weeks) and those requiring complex surgical interventions, enhancing your expertise and expanding your resume. With EPIC charting and access to advanced neonatal technologies, you’ll grow your clinical skill set while learning from renowned leaders in neonatal care.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 7a-7p (12-hour shifts)
  • Weekend rotation: Every other weekend minimum
  • No call requirements
  • Holiday coverage: 75% of holidays (as applicable)
  • 6-week scheduling cycles

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid RN license
  • 2+ years recent NICU experience (Level III or IV)
  • BLS and NRP certifications
  • Strength in basic vent support, central line, trach, and g-tube management
  • Competency in pre/post-surgical care for neonates

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Care for high-risk, critically ill infants, including premature and surgical cases
  • Manage ventilators, central lines, tracheostomies, G-tubes, and feeding modalities (breast, bottle, gavage)
  • Administer blood transfusions, monitor vital signs, and respond effectively to emergencies
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and float to pediatrics or PICU as needed
