Our full-time Ultrasonographer will support the needs of our patients and facility by way of performing the necessary ultrasounds.

Hours: Monday - Friday 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. with holiday and weekend rotation.

This position is based in Philadelphia - Arch Street and may require occasional travel to our other clinics in: Havertown, West Chester, Wyomissing, Bryn Mawr. and Fort Washington. Reliable transportation is a must for this position.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Obtain measurements and calculations of female anatomy while performing a detailed ultrasound examination.
• Utilize techniques that result in optimized images.
• Obtain appropriate images that clearly demonstrate ultrasound findings in accordance with specified protocols and accreditation standards.
• Communicate effectively with medical staff regarding pertinent ultrasound findings in a concise, complete and accurate manner.
• Perform departmental tasks that are necessary to maintaining quality throughout all aspects of job duties performed.
• Document results utilizing our electronic medical records system.
• Must be able to function independently.
• Must possess the ability to work collaboratively with the clinical team.
• Must possess the interpersonal skills needed to communicate effectively with patients, staff and medical personnel.
• Other tasks as assigned.

Education and/or Experience:

• HS diploma or GED, required
• Graduate of an accredited program resulting in the certification as a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) or DMS is required.
• OB-GYN experience is highly preferred.
