Responsibilities 1.Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
2. Makes key sales decisions
3. Keeps customers abreast of current pricing, product and market changes
4. Quotes material bids on a timely basis and leaving a quality audit trail
5. Phones and/or faxes inquiries in a timely manner
6. Relays answers to technical questions for customers
7. Acts as liaison between manufacturers and customers
8. Helps customers in growth streamlining of their operations
9. Interfaces with management for critical decisions
10. Interfaces with inside sales
11. Solicits sales to new contractors and/or existing contractors, residential, building envelope, sheet metal, and lumber yards
12. Maintains continuing education and self-study regarding existing products, new products, and industry trends
13. Provides inside sales office coverage to include housekeeping duties such as desk and file organization, database assembly and maintenance, product samples and literature, and automobile, detail, and catalog maintenance
14. Use personal vehicle to travel to client locations as necessary (mileage reimbursement)
15. Performs counter sales, and cash register and visa machine operation
16. Operates photocopy and facsimile machines
Qualifications and Skills
- Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or four to six years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. B.S./B.A. preferred.
- Math Ability: Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
- Reasoning Ability: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables
- Computer Skills: To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Google Earth; inventory software; internet software and order processing systems

REQUIREMENT:
1. 2+ years of Outside Sales Experience - Building Materials is a plus
2. Bilingual Spanish- Highly preferred
3. Longevity with previous company.
Schedule: Monday - Friday (7:00AM - 4:30PM)
Compensation: $24.00 - $26.00 Hourly
