Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care using the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document care tailored to individual patient needs
- Ensure safe, effective, and equitable care aligned with established protocols and standards
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, maintaining accurate documentation
- Collaborate with patients, families, and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate care plans
- Provide clinical supervision to LPNs and assistive personnel
- Participate in ongoing education, competency testing, and protocol adherence specific to patient populations and procedures
- Adapt to floating between departments and local sites within a 20-mile radius as necessary
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Valid RN licensure with ER nursing experience
- Successful completion of an on-site Basic Cardiac Arrhythmia (BCA) test is mandatory; failure to pass after one re-test opportunity will result in contract cancellation
- Ability to handle fast-paced environments with critical thinking and multitasking skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
