Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensed with an SLP-CCC certification, available for a contract position in a school setting located in Gary, IN. Both full-time and part-time candidates are welcomed, including those completing their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY).
Key qualifications and desired experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required
- Open to Speech-Language Pathologists in their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Experience in delivering speech therapy services in school settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and school staff
Location:
- School environment in Gary, Indiana
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students with communication disorders
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings as needed
