Degree in Radiologic Technology, Certification in Radiologic Technology (ARRT Certification), and minimum 1+ years Radiology Tech experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An exceptional opportunity is available for an Imaging Radiology Technician to support a well-equipped and dynamic radiology unit. This contract position offers a chance to work with advanced imaging technology, including two new Canon XR rooms and a selection of C-arm equipment from leading manufacturers. The role is based in the Manchester area with a schedule from Sunday to Wednesday, 12:30 PM to 10:30 PM, and includes the responsibility to take call.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Licensure: Must hold a valid NH state license for radiology technologists
- Certification: ARRT (R) required
- Experience: Proficient in OR and fluoroscopy procedures; advanced skills preferred but not mandatory
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required
- Documentation proficiency: Experience with Allscripts scheduling and documentation systems is beneficial
Responsibilities include:
- Performing radiologic imaging and fluoroscopic procedures in a busy unit with 330 beds
- Utilizing a variety of imaging equipment including Philips, Siemens, GE OECs, Carestream, Canon, and Siemens XR devices
- Collaborating with a team of experienced technologists and unit secretaries
- Adhering to unit policies, dress code (any color scrubs), and ensuring quality patient care during shifts and on call times
