Job DescriptionOur client in Irwin is seeking Furnace Operators to join the team
Position will be on 1st shift
Job Summary
Responsible for preparing materials for the sintering process, operating and maintaining furnaces, loading/unloading furnace heats, monitoring furnace activity, and ensuring quality standards are met.
Duties:
- Follow all safety and quality procedures.
- Remain clean-shaven daily for respirator use (PPE requirement).
- Operate, monitor, and maintain furnaces per production schedule.
- Report issues affecting safety, equipment, or product quality.
- Inspect products using micrometers and other measuring tools.
- Wear required PPE, including respirator and steel-toed boots.
Requirements:
- Must be able to wear a respirator throughout the shift.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Previous Brazing Experience
- Ability to read blueprints
