Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Technical Recruiter to join our growing team. This role is ideal for someone with recruiting experience and a strong understanding of STEM-related positions, including engineering, information technology, scientific, and technical roles. The Junior Technical Recruiter will support the full recruitment lifecycle, helping identify, engage, and place qualified candidates while delivering an exceptional candidate experience.
This position offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work in-office while collaborating with team members.
Key Responsibilities
- Source, identify, and recruit qualified candidates for STEM-related positions, including engineering, IT, scientific, and technical roles.
- Review resumes and applications to evaluate candidate qualifications and fit.
- Conduct phone screenings and initial candidate interviews.
- Build and maintain talent pipelines through job boards, social media platforms, networking, and referrals.
- Develop and maintain relationships with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Create and post job advertisements across multiple recruiting platforms.
- Track candidate activity and maintain accurate records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Communicate regularly with managers regarding candidate status and recruiting progress.
- Stay informed about industry trends, labor market conditions, and recruiting best practices.
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience, preferably in technical, engineering, scientific, or STEM-related positions.
- Skilled in the ability to navigate recruiting platforms such as LinkedIn, indeed, etc.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple openings and priorities simultaneously.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and applicant tracking systems.
- Professional and customer-service-oriented approach to candidate and client interactions.
Preferred:
- Experience recruiting for engineering, IT, software development, manufacturing, or technical positions.
- Proficient with LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and other sourcing tools.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
