Outside Sales Representative
Philadelphia Metropolitan (Hyrbrid/ Territory-Based)

Sales Representative:
The Sales Representative will be responsible for managing and growing the Filtration business within an assigned territory. This role owns full territory execution, including direct sales, channel development, prospecting, and account management. The position is highly field-facing and suited for a true hunter who can also nurture long-term customer relationships.
This role reports directly to senior sales leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a territory sales plan in partnership with management to achieve assigned revenue targets
- Drive sales growth by expanding existing accounts and developing new OEM, distributor, and representative relationships
- Prospect, generate leads, and convert new business through phone, email, and onsite customer engagement
- Manage and grow sales channels (OEMs, distributors, manufacturers’ reps), providing direction, support, and feedback
- Prepare quotations and provide technical and commercial support to promote filtration products
- Establish credibility with customers through product knowledge, training, and application-based sales support
- Document all sales activity in CRM and provide monthly activity and travel reports to management
- Travel extensively within the territory (25–75%), including customer visits, trade shows, sales meetings, and training
- Submit monthly expense reports in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- 2-5+ years of sales experience in laboratory equipment, filtration, or the water treatment industry
- Technical degree (Chemical Engineering, Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry) or equivalent industry experience preferred
- Demonstrated hunter-focused sales approach (75% new business / 25% account management)
- Strong understanding of laboratory, OEM, or process water applications
- Active involvement in relevant professional associations or certifications (e.g., ISPE, WQA) preferred
