Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

About The Company:
A Washington, DC-based membership association is looking for a motivated and detail-driven Membership Assistant to support their team on a contract basis. This role offers meaningful exposure to member engagement, database management, and event coordination within a mission-driven organization.
Job Description:
We are looking for a Membership Assistant to act as a key resource for member-related needs, keep membership records accurate and up to date, and assist with the logistics of events and meetings. The right candidate is someone who can juggle multiple priorities with ease and brings a strong attention to detail to everything they do.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the go-to resource for incoming membership inquiries, providing timely and professional responses
- Enter, update, and maintain membership information within the organization's database
- Track and manage new member lists and help facilitate a smooth onboarding experience
- Support the planning and coordination of logistics for meetings and events
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of professional experience supporting members within a membership association or similar environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and association management software (AMS)
- Prior experience with iMIS and Salesforce is highly preferred
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail and the ability to adapt to shifting priorities
- Bachelor's degree highly preferred
Additional Details:
This is a hybrid contract position based in Washington, DC, expected to run 2–3 months. Candidates should be available Monday through Friday during standard business hours.
