Job Description
The Carpenter is responsible for maintaining and repairing the existing appearance of property and fixtures, assisting with in-house remodels and working with outside contractors on larger projects.
Duties:
<ul>

Maintain cosmetic esthetics of casino and upkeep of common areas.
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
Maintain an orderly schedule of preventive maintenance in casino, restaurant, banquets and kitchen areas.
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
Respond promptly to needs of company.
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
Maintain a constant awareness of safety problems and report unsafe conditions and exposure to shift supervisor.
</li>
<li>
Annual completion of Respirator training and fit test.
</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>
High school diploma, GED, or trade school equivalent required.
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
Three or more years’ experience in finish, rough or related carpentry trades.
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
Able to understand blueprints and work with various woods, sheet rock, carpet, paint and laminate.
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
</li>
</ul>
<ul>
<li>
Be organized, flexible and able to handle multiple priorities and deadlines pressures.
</li>
</ul>
