Requirements:
- 8 or more years of experience as Technical Writer.
- Proficiency in Jira for lifecycle management and internal process documentation.
- Experience with authoring technical materials like release notes, known issue guides, and deployment summaries.
- Experience in documenting customer-reported software and data submission issues.
- Experience in training team members on internal systems and documentation practices.
- Experience with the Texas Student Data System (TSDS) and related data submission processes.
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
Responsibilities:
- Create accurate, accessible documentation for end users including guides, release notes, and updates.
- Maintain up-to-date technical documents aligned with internal standards and accessibility needs.
- Collaborate with product owners to gather and validate documentation content.
- Support customer outreach during peak data submission periods.
- Track and summarize issues reported by ESCs and LEAs for team review.
- Research and implement best practices for Jira documentation and internal process improvements.
- Present findings and feedback to internal leadership and support team training efforts.
