POSITION SUMMARY
As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in providing administrative support to ensure smooth operations within the medical office. Your attention to detail and excellent communication skills will contribute to delivering exceptional patient care.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in a medical or dental office setting preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures
- Proficient in using office software and electronic medical records systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet and check-in patients upon arrival at the medical office
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, both in-person and over the phone
- Collect and update patient information, including medical history and insurance details and will also collect payments for services
- Assist with medical administrative tasks, such as filing, data entry, and record keeping
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as necessary
- Answer patient inquiries and provide information about services offered
- Ensure a clean and organized reception area
- Assumes other duties as assigned

- The majority of the time on-the-job is spent walking, sitting, using hands to hold and move items, reaching with hands and arms, talking, hearing, stooping, crouching and bending
- At times the job may require weight to be lifted up to 50 pounds
- The job requires the following types of vision: close, distance, peripheral and depth perception
- Typical noise level for the work environment of this job is moderate (i.e. business office with computers and printers, light traffic)
- Work in an office environment and sustain posture in a seated position for moderate periods of time
- Must be able to communicate clearly in person and over the telephone
- Hearing must be adequate to perform job duties in person and over the telephone
