Position Description:A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) specializing in telespeech and teletherapy services within a school setting in San Mateo, CA. This role focuses on delivering remote speech therapy to students, employing telepractice techniques to support communication development and academic success.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct virtual speech and language evaluations using teletherapy platforms.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each student’s needs.
- Deliver therapeutic sessions remotely, utilizing evidence-based strategies to enhance speech and language skills.
- Collaborate with educational staff to monitor student progress and adapt interventions as necessary.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with program guidelines for teletherapy services.
Qualifications:
- Valid credential or certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience providing teletherapy or telespeech services within educational environments.
- Strong understanding of speech and language disorders and age-appropriate intervention strategies.
- Familiarity with virtual therapy platforms and digital communication tools.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
