Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A K-12 school in Long Prairie, MN is seeking two skilled school psychologists for a full academic year contract. This is an excellent opportunity to provide essential mental health and educational support to students across all grade levels in a supportive school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological evaluations to assess student needs and determine eligibility for special education services
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention to support student well-being and academic achievement
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to address behavioral and learning challenges
- Maintain accurate records and ply with legal and ethical standards related to educational psychology
Qualifications:
- Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state licensure or certification as a school psychologist in Minnesota
- Experience working with children in K-12 educational settings
- Strong assessment, munication, and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads and work independently within a team framework
