Location: Remote (Candidates must reside in CST, EST, or MT time zones)
Employment Type: Contract
Pay Rate: $55–$60/hour
Eligibility: U.S. Citizens Only

Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Pega Developer to join our team and support the design, development, and implementation of enterprise Pega solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Pega platform development, hold current Pega certifications, and possess a proven track record delivering scalable business process automation solutions.

Healthcare industry experience is highly preferred.

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • 6+ years of hands-on Pega development experience
  • Active Pega certification such as:
    • Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA)
    • Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA) preferred
  • Strong experience with:
    • Pega PRPC / Infinity Platform
    • Case Management
    • Business Process Management (BPM)
    • Decisioning and Workflow Automation
    • Integrations using REST, SOAP, and APIs
    • Pega Rules, Data Pages, and UI development
  • Experience participating in the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
  • Strong troubleshooting and performance optimization skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder collaboration abilities

Preferred Qualifications

  • Healthcare payer, provider, or health insurance industry experience
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Experience with Pega Customer Service or Pega Customer Decision Hub

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain Pega applications and workflows
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to gather requirements and define solutions
  • Build and support integrations with enterprise systems
  • Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to Pega best practices
  • Troubleshoot production issues and optimize application performance
  • Participate in architecture discussions and contribute to technical solution design
  • Support testing, deployment, and ongoing application enhancements
