Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opportunity is available for an Occupational Therapist experienced in school-based services to support an elementary school caseload. This contract position, beginning ASAP and continuing through the end of the school year, involves providing specialized OT care to students within an elementary education setting. Located in the Anaheim and Culver City, CA areas, this role offers 30+ hours weekly, catering to a diverse student population.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Occupational Therapy credentials with school-based experience
- Ability to manage an elementary school caseload effectively
- Knowledge of pediatric OT practices and individualized student needs
- Familiarity with educational collaboration and student-centered therapy goals
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy evaluations, treatments, and consultations to students
- Develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Monitor student progress and adjust therapy interventions accordingly
- Maintain detailed documentation and comply with school district policies
- Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with school staff and parents
