Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree, active Pharmacist license, and minimum 1+ years Pharmacist in Charge experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
An opening leadership role is available for a licensed Pharmacist to serve as the Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) within a home infusion pharmacy setting. This position offers a 13-week contract to hire opportunity with a consistent Monday through Friday, first-shift schedule (8:30 a.m.5:00 p.m.), based in Foxborough, MA. Some weekend availability and participation in an on-call rotation may be required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee prescription documentation and review processes, ensuring full compliance with HIPAA, federal, state, and BioMatrix regulatory standards.
- Provide patient counseling, enforce safe dispensing practices, monitor equipment usage, and manage resolution of patient incidents or escalated care concerns.
- Coordinate with intake, referral, pharmacy, and shipping teams to support seamless onboarding, referral management, prescription fulfillment, and delivery accuracy.
- Lead pharmacy technician teams, support staffing needs across multiple locations, and communicate timely operational updates related to personnel, procedures, and technology enhancements.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active and clear Massachusetts Pharmacist license; Connecticut license preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years pharmacy experience, including at least 1 year in a specialty environment.
- Proven management experience with leadership capabilities.
- Demonstrated expertise in sterile compounding and in-depth knowledge of USP 797 standards.
- Familiarity with CareTend pharmacy software is highly preferred.

Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:30 a.m.5:00 p.m., plus potential weekend and on-call duties
