A Data Entry Clerk is responsible for accurately inputting, updating, and maintaining information within computer systems and databases. This role requires attention to detail, speed, and accuracy to ensure data integrity and support organizational operations.
Responsibilities
- Enter data from various sources into the company database efficiently and accurately
- Verify accuracy of data before and after entry to maintain data integrity
- Update and correct existing data records as needed
- Organize and maintain paper and electronic files
- Assist in generating reports and summaries as requested
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure data quality and consistency
- Adhere to data confidentiality and security policies
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in the data
