Start Date: March 2, 2026
Location: Rochester, New York
Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
Schedule: 13-week contract; block scheduling available upon request; every-other-weekend requirement; day/evening ratios 5:1 (stretch 6-7:1), night ratios 6-7:1 (stretch 8-10:1)

Highlights:

• 19-bed cardiac unit focused on medical-surgical and telemetry care for adult and geriatric populations
• Epic charting system with 16 hours of orientation provided
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, phlebotomy, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy
• Patient care technicians assist with vital signs, blood glucose monitoring, EKGs, and activities of daily living
• Float to like units within scope as needed to support facility operations
• First-time travelers welcome with minimum 1 year of MS/Tele experience

Requirements:

• Active New York RN license required at time of submission
• Minimum 1 year of recent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nursing experience
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required
• Epic charting experience is mandatory
• Competency in dysrhythmia interpretation and management
• Proficiency with peripheral line care, oxygen administration, non-invasive airway management, and isolation precautions
• Experience with rapid response team activation and utilization
• Must reside 75 miles or more from the facility
• Limited to 1 week of requested time off during contract period
