Description: Develop and handle sales of idle and used manufacturing industrial equipment and complete plants to end users. Manage existing and new customers and sales from start to finish. Must have excellent speaking and follow-up skills. Must have the ability to communicate clearly and be a technically minded business person to understand the general concept of technical equipment. Customer follow-up is essential. We furnish database, website, technical/engineering, computer, and back-office support to help with getting all information and data on equipment so customers can make an informed purchase decision to close sales. . Position includes a Sales Quota. This is Base Salary PLUS Commission. Commission is 15% of profits made from each completed sale. Full-time position but some work can be done remotely.
Knowledge:
- Technical college degree preferred - engineering a plus
- Working familiarity of technical equipment or plants
- Good computer skills
- Good speaking skills and energy
Experience:
- At least 5 to 10 years track record in technical sales field
- Equipment sales and quoting experience is a plus
