Emergency Room Nurse Manager – Lead with Purpose in a High-Acuity Setting

📍 Central New Jersey | Full-Time | Day Shift (M–F, 12 PM–8 PM-offering flexibility)



Are you a driven and experienced emergency room RN ready to take the next step in your leadership journey? We're seeking a committed Emergency Department Nurse Manager to oversee the daily operations of a high-volume, high-acuity, emergency department that plays a critical role in its community.


As Nurse Manager, you’ll work closely with a collaborative Director of Emergency Services, maintaining a schedule designed to support both day and night shift teams while ensuring robust departmental leadership coverage. You’ll be responsible for 24/7 accountability and work closely with a team of experienced Clinical Coordinators who report directly to you.

What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee daily ED operations and staffing
  • Balance administrative responsibilities with hands-on support during high-volume or short-staffed situations
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards (TJC, EMTALA)
  • Drive performance outcomes and community outreach initiatives


Qualifications:

  • NJ RN license required
  • BSN required; MSN preferred
  • CEN or willingness to obtain within 3–5 years
  • 3–4 years of Emergency Department clinical experience
  • 2–3 years of leadership experience (preferred)
