Job DescriptionClient is seeking a Senior Writer/Editor who will support the development of high-quality written materials for a statewide initiative helping California counties expand mobile crisis services, funded by DHCS and the American Rescue Plan Act. This role leads the creation and editing of resources, publications, training content, and communications, ensuring clarity, accessibility, and alignment with style guidelines. Key tasks include writing and editing for web, newsletters, and social media; formatting content for dissemination; reviewing training materials; and coordinating with designers. No travel is required. Candidates must have strong writing/editing skills, attention to detail, and experience creating content for diverse audiences. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of APA style are required. Preferred: experience in nonprofits or behavioral health. Requires an advanced degree or equivalent and at least 7 years of writing/research experience.
