We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our client's marketing team in Midland, Michigan. In this long-term ongoing contract position, you will play a key role in supporting marketing initiatives, from managing social media content to assisting with event coordination and graphic design. Responsibilities:
• Develop and schedule engaging social media posts to promote products and events.
• Assist in the planning and execution of trade shows and marketing events.
• Create visually appealing landing pages using WordPress to enhance user experience.
• Design marketing materials using tools like Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
• Collaborate with product line managers and technical engineers to craft compelling copy for marketing campaigns.
• Prepare and deliver impactful presentations using PowerPoint.
• Contribute to direct marketing campaigns by coordinating content and outreach efforts.
• Ensure brand consistency across all marketing channels and materials.
• Monitor and report on the effectiveness of social media and digital marketing activities.
• Stay updated on marketing trends and tools to continuously improve strategies.
• Proficiency in social media platforms and content management.
• Experience with WordPress for website updates and landing page creation.
• Skilled in graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite and Canva.
• Strong ability to create and deliver presentations using PowerPoint.
• Previous experience in event planning and coordination.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for crafting marketing copy.
• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• Internship or 1 year of experience in marketing roles, preferably outside of manufacturing.
