The Company US is the US arm of The Company, one of the largest professional membership operators in Europe. Our parent organization manages multiple membership networks across Poland and beyond, serving thousands of business owners and executives through various peer group models. The organization has experienced significant year-over-year growth, building a strong foundation in scaling membership communities.

In the United States, our focus is on Corporate Connections, a highly curated membership for founder-led businesses. We hold the exclusive rights to operate Corporate Connections in the US market. This membership is designed to deliver tangible, measurable results for members' businesses, with high retention, deep engagement, and a proven system for launching new chapters. The model has been successful across multiple European markets, and we are now adapting it to the US to build a world-class operation from the ground up, starting in New York City.

About the Role

The Head of New York will serve as both the market leader and brand face for our business in New York City. This individual will be responsible for launching our first chapter, building a founding membership of exceptional business owners, and establishing the standards for future US markets. The role begins as a sales leader focused on opening the market and building membership, then evolves into a general manager position overseeing revenue, member experience, operations, and team development.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of the go-to-market strategy for New York, from prospecting to closing founding members
  • Develop a pipeline of founders and business owners through outreach, referrals, and partnerships
  • Launch and lead the first New York chapter, setting quality standards for the US business
  • Manage the full member experience, including acquisition, onboarding, engagement, retention, and renewal
  • Build strategic partnerships and plan market events to drive prospect conversion, brand awareness, and credibility
  • Build, manage, and develop a high-performing local team
  • Own revenue targets and report on performance, pipeline health, and growth
  • Shape the playbook for future US market expansion based on learnings from New York

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10+ years of regional sales leadership experience
  • Background in business development, sales leadership, or market management, preferably within membership organizations, executive networks, or high-touch B2B services
  • Experience in membership-based organizations, partnership development, or ecosystem building is preferred
  • Proven ability to run consultative, high-touch sales processes from prospecting to close with founders and business owners
  • Experience leading small, high-performing teams in growth-stage or entrepreneurial environments
  • Deep understanding of the New York City business ecosystem, including peer groups, private clubs, and professional networks
  • Executive presence and personal brand that commands attention and trust with business leaders
  • An established network of founders and business owners in the New York metro area is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with bringing international models to the US market is a bonus
