Dental Assistant - Join Our High-End, Multi-Specialty Dental Team

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Dental Assistant to join our team. This position is 3 days a week, Mon – Wed. The ideal candidate is patient-focused, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced clinical environment. This role is essential in supporting the dentist during procedures, ensuring smooth daily operations, and delivering an exceptional patient experience.
As a Dental Assistant, you will play a key role in both clinical and administrative support, helping maintain an efficient workflow while providing high-quality care to our patients.
Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure operatories are fully stocked and ready for patients
- Sterilize instruments and maintain strict infection control and OSHA/CDC compliance
- Take and develop digital X-rays as permitted by state regulations
- Prepare patients for treatment and ensure their comfort throughout the visit
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans
- Update and maintain accurate patient records and charting
- Support scheduling, patient flow, and communication with the front office team
- Assist with inventory management and ordering supplies
Qualifications
- Dental Assistant certification or licensure as required by state regulations
- Previous chairside dental assisting experience preferred
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and instruments
- Experience with digital X-rays and dental software systems preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Dentrix or similar dental software
- General restorative and hygiene assisting experience
- Strong patient care and customer service skills
