Instructional aides are needed to provide one-on-one and small group support to students in school settings in Manteca, CA. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver academic, behavioral, and social support to students within classrooms
  • Assist with daily routines, transitions, and encourage active participation
  • Implement individualized behavior support plans and follow IEP guidelines as applicable
  • Support mobility, supervision, and personal care needs to ensure student safety and well-being
  • Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment for all students

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum age of 18 years
  • Ability to pass TB testing and complete all school district-mandated clearances prior to placement
  • Physical capability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed

Preferred Experience:

  • Background in special education, child care, behavioral health, or school settings
  • Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
  • Certifications such as CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention), PMT, or RBT considered advantageous but not mandatory
  • Reliable, patient, and collaborative with a strong team-oriented approach
