Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Instructional aides are needed to provide one-on-one and small group support to students in school settings in Manteca, CA. Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver academic, behavioral, and social support to students within classrooms
- Assist with daily routines, transitions, and encourage active participation
- Implement individualized behavior support plans and follow IEP guidelines as applicable
- Support mobility, supervision, and personal care needs to ensure student safety and well-being
- Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment for all students
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Ability to pass TB testing and complete all school district-mandated clearances prior to placement
- Physical capability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as needed
Preferred Experience:
- Background in special education, child care, behavioral health, or school settings
- Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
- Certifications such as CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention), PMT, or RBT considered advantageous but not mandatory
- Reliable, patient, and collaborative with a strong team-oriented approach
