Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

Location: Darien, CT (Hybrid)

Practitioner Requirements

• Licensed APRN with PMHNP certification and master’s degree from an accredited program

• Minimum 3 years of post-certification experience (outpatient preferred)

• Valid and unrestricted APRN, DEA, and state licenses; maintains compliance with all prescribing and monitoring regulations, and maintains proper levels of liability insurance

• Medicare/Medicaid eligible provider; maintains all required credentials and liability insurance

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team

• Comfortable engaging in client development and representing the practice in the community

Practitioner Responsibilities

• Provide psychiatric evaluations, medication management, and clinical services to children and adolescents in alignment with best practices and state/federal regulations

• Collaborate with a broad multidisciplinary team as well as our community partners, writing orders as defined by the parameters listed in the Standard Care Arrangement (SCA)

• Complete timely, accurate documentation to support quality care, billing, and compliance requirements

• Develop and monitor individualized treatment plans, including patient education, referrals, and care coordination

• Participate in call coverage and provide ongoing support to assigned patients

• Engage in continuing education, credentialing, and quality improvement activities to ensure excellence in care delivery

Job Type

• Full-time (25–35 clients/week)

• Hybrid schedule (mix of in-person and virtual)

• W2 employee

Compensation

• Percentage of net collections; equivalent to $130,000–$150,000/year with anticipated caseload
• Comprehensive benefits package including health/dental/vision and retirement
