We are looking for a skilled Business Analyst III to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Naperville, IL. In this role, you will conduct detailed operational analyses to support strategic decision-making within the business unit. You will work on medium to large-scale projects, utilizing both quantitative and qualitative research while designing and refining processes to enhance efficiency.


Responsibilities:

• Perform operational analyses to assist in informed decision-making for business units.

• Lead medium to large-scale special projects that require both quantitative and qualitative research.

• Develop and refine processes to improve workflows and business efficiency.

• Create detailed reports and validation plans to ensure accuracy and compliance.

• Collaborate with teams to support onboarding, staffing, and supplier-related functions.

• Oversee commission functions and manage contingent workforce tasks.

• Utilize standardized tools and techniques to execute assigned responsibilities.

• Conduct research and analysis related to cyber, sales tax compliance, and business expenses.

• Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements such as NERC standards.

• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to enhance business operations.

• Bachelor’s degree is preferred, with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical skills, capable of performing quantitative and qualitative research.
• Experience with process design and modification to optimize workflows.
• Ability to manage and lead special projects independently.
• Familiarity with compliance requirements such as CCH Sales Tax and NERC standards.
• Proficiency in decision-making and problem-solving within business operations.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with teams and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of tools and techniques for operational analysis.
