Job DescriptionManufacturing Assembler

Introduction
We are seeking an Assembler II to support the build and assembly of technical equipment within a production cell environment. This role involves hands-on assembly work, use of technical instructions, and collaboration with engineering and production teams to ensure high quality output.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Assemble system subassemblies and integrate them into complete equipment builds using wire diagrams, schematics, and written instructions
  • Follow task priorities based on production schedules, engineering requirements, and change notices
  • Use hand tools, crimpers, and other basic equipment to assemble components and wire harnesses
  • Track tools, parts, and materials and maintain accurate inventory within the cell
  • Provide feedback to engineering and production teams on mechanical or electrical issues found during assembly
  • Support continuous improvement activities for processes and products
  • Follow all company safety policies and guidelines
  • Take on additional tasks as assigned

What You Need For the Position

  • High school diploma required; two years of assembly experience preferred (additional education may also be considered)
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documents
  • Ability to use hand tools, including crimpers and assembly tools
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to set task priorities based on schedules and specifications
  • Good judgment, flexibility, and a proactive approach to completing work
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds
