Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to deliver essential services within a K-12 school environment located in Silver Spring, MD. This role is dedicated to supporting students who have diverse speech, language, and communication challenges, helping them achieve both academic success and improved social interactions.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments and evaluations.
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals tailored to student needs.
Provide direct therapeutic interventions and consultative support for students.
Collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and IEP teams to ensure coordinated and holistic care.

Qualifications:

Current active Maryland SLP license.
Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) certification or eligibility to obtain certification.
Experience working in school or pediatric settings is preferred but not mandatory.
Strong communication and teamwork skills to work collaboratively with educational teams.
