Job Description

We are seeking Project Coordinators and Project Support Specialists to assist transit infrastructure projects across multiple functional areas. This role provides day-to-day coordination and analytical support for light rail expansion and transit initiatives, with assignments aligned to individual experience in permitting, outreach, utilities, research, contracts, or document control.


Key Responsibilities

  • Provide project coordination and administrative support across transit projects, supporting planning, design, and delivery activities.
  • Assist with permitting and regulatory compliance tasks in coordination with internal teams and external agencies.
  • Support community and public outreach activities, including documentation, communications, and meeting coordination.
  • Assist with utility coordination, research, and technical or data analysis activities as assigned.
  • Support contract administration, document control, and version management in accordance with project requirements.
  • Track action items, schedules, deliverables, and project documentation; provide status updates to project leads.
  • Prepare reports, summaries, and presentations to support project team and stakeholder reviews.
  • Coordinate across multi-disciplinary teams and support issue resolution as needed.


Requirements

  • Prior transit, transportation and/or construction industry experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Planning, Business, Engineering, Construction Management, Public Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 1–3 years of project coordination or project support experience.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Ability to support multiple tasks and adapt to changing project priorities.


Strongly Preferred

  • Experience supporting permitting, public outreach, utility coordination, research, document control, or contracts.
  • Familiarity with working in public agency or regulated project environments.
