Hiring Special Education Teacher
Location: Onsite | Wilmington, VT
Position Type: Full-Time | Contract
Bilingual Therapies is seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time onsite assignment in Wilmington, Vermont. This role supports a primarily elementary caseload with flexibility to assist at the high school level if needed. The position offers a manageable caseload, strong collaboration with staff, and the opportunity to continue into the next school year.
Job Details:
Dates: ASAP - End of Current School Year
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
Hours: Full-time
Setting: Primarily Elementary (must be open to High School support if needed)
Caseload & Responsibilities:
Manage a caseload of approximately 15 students or fewer
Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
Provide specialized instruction tailored to diverse learning needs
Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and related service providers
Participate in IEP meetings and occasional after-school meetings (scheduled in advance)
Maintain accurate documentation and progress tracking
Qualifications:
Active Vermont Special Education teaching certification
Experience working with elementary students preferred
Flexibility to support multiple grade levels if needed
Strong collaboration, communication, and organizational skills
Ability to adapt instruction to meet varying student needs

Compensation for this position ranges from $26.93 to $46.93. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
