Financial Operations Analyst
Location: Hybrid (3 days onsite, 2 days remote)
Compensation: $85,000 – $100,000 base salary
Employment Type: Full-Time
A growing organization is seeking a Financial Operations Analyst to support its Accounting & Finance team. This position plays a critical role in managing financial operations related to contracts and projects. The successful candidate will ensure billing accuracy, compliance with internal policies, and financial alignment across departments.
Responsibilities:
- Review contracts, proposals, quotes, and purchase orders for accuracy and alignment with project scopes.
- Perform three-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receipts to ensure proper billing and compliance.
- Track, allocate, and reconcile project-related expenses across multiple departments and business units.
- Analyze actual spend versus budget and report on variances, risks, and financial trends.
- Maintain financial and contract tracking systems with accurate and up-to-date data.
- Partner with finance, legal, supply chain, and other cross-functional teams to support project execution.
- Utilize ERP systems to support ongoing financial processes and contribute to process optimization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or project financial operations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (intermediate to advanced functions).
- Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite preferred).
- Familiarity with purchase orders, contracts, invoicing, and budget tracking.
- Experience in the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry is a plus.
